Acupuncture

Contemporary Medical Acupuncture is a precise peripheral nerve stimulation technique,in which acupuncture needles are inserted into anatomically defined neurofunctional sites and stimulated manually or with electricity. This is performed for the therapeutic purpose of modulating nerve activity.

Contemporary Medical Acupuncture is often combined with other therapeutic modalities (chiropractic, physiotherapy, rehabilitation) to provide optimal outcomes. It can be effectively utilized in treating a variety of conditions including but not limited to:

  • Headaches
  • Jaw pain (TMJ disorders)
  • Neck and Back pain
  • Muscle injuries (strains, spasm etc)
